Rip Rhorer dug this negative out of his pile of old State Journal stuff.  Taken at a Franklin County-Bryan Station game in Lexington.  Thanks to Bob Lippert for the scan. No it's not Castro and his cronies - it's Judge Green, Bobby Dinkle and Rick Hogan.

Dale Steven's 1933 Chevrolet -- 1968 and Today 
Below is Dale in 1968, but if you want to know what Dale looks like today, you're going to have to attend the reunion!

Everyone remembers the classic car that Dale Stevens drove to school almost every day.  It was a fixture in the parking lot.  He bought it for $50 from a guy on Holmes Street in 1965.  The photo on the left of that bone stock 1933 Chevrolet Sedan was scanned from our 1968 yearbook.  The photo on the right is the way it looks today, after Dale's made a few changes, starting about 1990.  Under the hood, there's a 327 cubic inch, smallblock Chevy that really growls.  A custom Kugel independent front suspension and a complete Corvette rear end make it ride and corner like a sports car.  Yeah, he cruises in the comfort of an air-conditioned interior.  Charcoal primer paint, red, powder-coated wheels and dog dish hub caps give it that old-school look.  Then and now.   (Thanks, Rip!)
